C.L.A.S.S.

CLASS 101 is the basic introduction to our church family designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. The CLASS, broken into four sessions covering: Our Salvation, Our Statements, Our Strategy and Our Structure is taught by the pastors on staff here at Pinelands. This is a great opportunity to learn about Pinelands Church, get to know others, and have a free meal as well (dinner’s on us).

 

If you have children between the ages 0 through 11, we will have childcare available for them while you’re in CLASS 101 (pre-registration is necessary for this - Call the church office (609) 812-0073).

 

You don’t have to become a member to attend it – it’s just for your information. We’ll explain what we believe, how we operate, and the history of our church. We’ll answer your questions, share information on our church’s future plans, and how you may become a member. At the end of the CLASS there will be an opportunity for you to decide whether to complete the process and become a member or wait and decide at another time. No pressure whatsoever, we want you to be comfortable with whichever you choose to do

 

The Membership Application consists of 3 questions:

1. When did you trust Jesus Christ for your salvation?

2. When and where you were baptized by immersion after you trusted Christ? You may choose to be baptized here at Pinelands Church.

3. Do you agree to abide by the Pinelands Covenant (which is fully explained in CLASS)?

CLASS 301 - Discovering my SHAPE for Ministry

God didn’t design ministry for just the few with seminary degrees. Here at Pinelands we believe that every member of our church is a "minister". This is what CLASS 301 is all about. Through the S.H.A.P.E. process, you’ll learn how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experience to minister to others in need.

 

During CLASS 301, you'll complete a SHAPE Profile, which is a detailed Discovery tool that helps reveal how God wants to use someone with your SHAPE to minister to others in need.

 

Next, you'll be encouraged to schedule a follow-up SHAPE Discovery Session to talk one-on-one with a Ministry Representative about your SHAPE Profile. Your Ministry Representative will help connect you with a Pinelands ministry where God can use you to make a lasting impact. Church membership is a required prerequisite for CLASS 301.
